This is such a good idea. Get feedback that improves your course while engaging students and steering them to a way of thinking about your (improving) course that may help end of semester course evals.

I’ve always wondered why teachers/professors don’t collect anonymous performance data from students regularly. If I was teaching, I would require each student to answer one question anonymously after each lecture (“did you understand the material discussed in class?” or similar), with the opportunity to provide additional feedback.
